new arrow rest

New bow needs a new rest, right?

Here comes the problem, is there truly an advantage of using a drop away rest? (other than FOB use) or is it really just marketing?

Slightly less arrow speed reduction due to less friction and less chance that your fletchings will contact the rest and alter arrow flight - This cant be a bad thing, right?
