My guess is Polis wanted somebody in there that never knew how good it was/can be so the Front Range's vision of Zootopia will be the new guys normal. Slowly but surely the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation will be undone by this new version of Democrats. If you would have told me 10 years ago that this is where we'd be as a country I would have spit Coor's Lights out of both nostrils!!!!

The question is how WOKE is he. I’ll bet plenty. Washington is more liberal than Colorado and had been for a long time. I’m sure Polis is pushing the socialist agenda. It’s not what they say, but what they do.

This part is my red flag.

"...championed internal diversity and equity priorities and successfully navigated complex budget and personnel issues."

However, without this type of declaration on your resume, I don't think he would have even earned a sniff from Polis.

I am trying to be optimistic until proof comes out to make me think otherwise. The problem is Polis is no dummy and I'd be surprised if he'd let someone slip through the cracks that is truly pro hunting and an advocate for responsible wildlife management.
