New Hunting Buddy

Hi all..........just brought home "my new best buddy to be" while I am out looking for whitetail sheds someday. He is a blonde lab..........named him Sampson. It probably has been posted in the past but here is a question I have, does anybody that hunt sheds with dogs have a suggestion on where I can get a book or some info on training him. The webb has a bunch of sites............anybody gonna point me to a certain one? I am here in South East Nebraska and have shed hunted for many ,many years. Long before it was so popular. But now that my knees won't let me cover as much ground quickly like I used too...........I thought it was time to get some help. Sampson already loves to drag around and smell and chew on the sheds that I have piled around the house. Soon I will make a game of him bringing them to me ........after that I'll start to hide the sheds outside and see if he can find them . This is my first lab....any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!!!!
