Ive rebuilt two jeeps. The first was a 65 CJ-5. New body, even welded in the 'WILLYS' panels, sanded and re-painted the frame, brakes from a corvette, PS, new wiring harness, 4-bolt 350, Muncie, 750 double pumper, etc. The only thing on it that wasn't new or rebuilt was the frame and the chrome ring around the headlights. 5.38 gears and I had to add a Saturn 23% OD. Ran great, finally sold it 20 years later.
The second was a 87 CJ-7. Rebuilt 350, fuelie heads, Art Carr reworked T-400, 4.56 gears, lockers, etc. I traded that for my last Harley.
Too old to do that stuff anymore.
