I was in a Hunter Safety Class with my kids the last two weeks. It was great. I did learn two things I hadn't heard before. The first is it now on the books that a hunter in Utah that has drawn a tag can donate it to a youth hunter.

The other is that on BLM or Forest service ground a person can be ticketed if found in possession of the screw in type tree steps. I had not heard either of theses and just wanted to pass it along

Did they happen to provide the regulation for the donation to a youth hunter? I might use that this year. Thanks for the info!

Only been proposed. Not gone through the rac yet. Should be in play next year. I think the age is either 16 and younger or under 16 and the person with the tag must be with the youth in the field when they are hunting. I believe the proposed cost will be $10.
