Nikon Coolpix S8100

Does anyone here have any experience with this camera and wether it would be a good unit for hunting/fishing use? Trying to decide between this camera and a Cannon point and shoot digital.

I love the S8100. The CMOS sensor reults in amazing pictures. vibrant colors in bright light and virtually no noise in low light. Terrific contrast as well. It is also one of the quickest cameras on the market. It shows amazing detail in the subjects as well. The comparable Canon, the 4500 is a nice camera but does not offer much more then the Nikon, yet costs more. Can't figure that one out.

Hey Joel, thanks for your reply and insight...that is the same info my local camera store has been telling me.

One last question, how do you rate the Canon SX210IS against the S8100?
