Nikon Monarch 10x42

I bought Nikon Monarch 10x42 for my wife, they are comparable to my Swarovski SLC 10x42's and are about $800.00 less. I think they are great optics for the money.

Agreed, they are outstanding optics for the price, coupled with their 25 year no-fault policy, you've got your self a bargin! Usually can find them online for $250. Not quite Swaros though.

i was in the market to buy some new binos 2-3 months ago and was set on the monarchs...until i was told about the minox bd 10x42 bl's...i ended up buying the minox...would have bought the monarchs otherwise...great glass for the price and i just can't justify paying over $1000 for a pair of binocs when that is half of my daughters school tuition...and worrying about losing them, scratching them, etc....
