NM Forest Closures till Dec 31 2022

Santa Fe, Cibola, Carson National Forests announce closures effective Thursday, May 19th through December 31 2022.

Hopefully rain at the end of summer will lift closures. Right now I'm next to the Hermit's Peak fire and crossing fingers it won't come into town.

I had to take my fire red card class last week, and the projections don't look good. In Oregon right now we are getting a great deal of rain, I hope you get some. JB

I used to, now I do contract work on fires. Much respect to those on the front line.

My son and his HS crew are on that fire right now, and it is some tough conditions to work in. More prayers up for all of them!!
