NM Unit 9

I'm taking my little cousin on his first big game hunt. It's only a cow tag but I'm hoping to make it a successful experience for him. I scouted up there earlier in the season and saw a few elk, but i was wondering if anybody has been up there lately. And maybe seen where the elk are moving around at. Any word would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I know that this time of year i have seen those hard to find so called elk you are lookin for hang around colorado canyon, or by lobo canyon . hope that helps you bring down one niec cow
