What are your recommendations for non insulated boots.

I usually hunt in warm or hot weather. I want good support for rocks and steep stuff, but need them to be as non heat generating as possible.

Have used the danner pronghorn, but they seem to last about a year or two.

Would like something that lasts longer as the price for better boots is not that much more if they last 4-5 years.

I don't put in that many days each year in total.

For a stiffer soled boot I would look at the Kenetrek boots I really like my hard scrabble. But they have a water proof liner so they might be a little warmer than a standard leather boot.

If there is any proof of a man in a hunt it is not whether he killed a deer or elk but how he hunted it.
