Our group drew out on the combo buck/bull tag this season, and we spent 4 days on the north slope hunting all over from Poison Mountain to the Wyoming border... lots of cows, some deer, but nothing to pull the trigger on.
Has anyone had luck, or seen anything anywhere else where a couple of us could head this weekend and maybe have some better luck? It's northern region only, so we are a bit limited.
This is my first hunt in 15 years (1994 was my last real deer hunt)... so I'd like to get something... anything with antlers is good with me.
Any warmhearted folks out there lend some advice on where to head this weekend?
