Anyone know how the elk are doing this winter in units 2 and 201?
I might finally get a tag in one of these units, if it is looking to be a good year to go.

Winters been about average from what I've seen. The elk numbers seem to be about the same as usual. The real kicker is how wet of spring and summer we have to help antler growth. If you do end up pulling the tag let me know I can help.

I think it takes a lot more snow to affect the elk herd than it does the deer herd. they're so darn big and strong that it doesn't seem to bother them as much.
