Official elk draw results are up!

Just checked the draw results and preference points link on the CDOW website....It's official, they are up! I drew my elk tag!!!!

7 pref. points for me. My dad drew statewide muzzy bull, and my father in law drew first rifle in 48. Damn I've got a lot of work getting that old, overweight guy into that hellacious country.

Dang, our 3rd choice had leftover tags last year, and we still didn't get drawn!

Leftover list not posted till July 23. If you were unsuccessful and checked the leftover box, you'll be mailed the preliminary left over list and have a shot at it before it goes public.
As for me, I struck out on my muzzy tag as well as my 2nd choice 1st season.....I'm bummed but didn't have very good odds with 0 pts! I B shopping the leftover list soon!

If you want to get a jump of the leftover list you can look at statics for drawing summary, it will tell how many tags there will be on the leftover list mail out. Then after that is picked over the remaining leftovers will go sale over the counter. If anyone is interested in trespass hunts on private for either sex 1st season or cow muzzleloader send me a pm, I know there are leftover for tese hunts.
