i am buying an out of state rifle deer tag for Oklahoma. My friend has a ranch up there and i am wondering if anybody has ever hunted over in northwestern Oklahoma around the town of Woodward. are there any good bucks taken up that way?

A couple of years ago I hunted in the northwest corner on and in the Cimmaron River. Collected a nice 8 point and saw a few bucks. One person in our camp found a 27" non typical rack that was awesome. The rack was a couple of years old so I'am not sure if it was a predator kill or not. You'll have fun and you'll see tons of turkeys and some mule deer.
