opening weekend

anyone have any luck this weekend. my son shot a cow elk on a spike unit saturday night. it was his first big game kill with a bow, and he's only 12

Thats awesome for your son. I just took my first animal with a bow monday night i shot a spike from my treestand !

That's awesome!!!! I hope he's hooked for life. We need new blood in our sport to keep it going. WI just passed a law that alows 10 yr olds to hunt with a mentor that must be within arms reach and only 1 weapon between the 2. I hope this gets more youth invovled in the outdoors. Congrats to your son!!!
