LAST EDITED ON Aug-23-03 AT 10:28PM (MST)[p]Hello everyone, It's been awhile since I have hunted for Blacktails and I was woundering if anyone out there might happen to know of any good areas to start scouting within The Bull Of The Woods Wilderness or around there. I used to go up above fish creek on the clackamas river but I can't get up there any more to get close to where I used to walk in at because the roads are washed out. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I was up at Elk Lake this past weekend. There were a lot of tracks on the trail into the Bull of the Woods wilderness, and around the lake. The road in is pretty rough, I wouldn't want to try and take a camp trailer in there, Also the lake had lots of people at it due to Mount Jeffereson being closed.
