Is there no oryx 510 this year??? Maybe Im misreading this but you have to put in for a regular oryx hunt before you can apply for this population reduction?

I only looked over the new proc once but it appears that the population management hunts for most or all species are to be distributed with a 5th choice option in the regular drawing, rather than through a population management specific drawing. Probably streamlines the drawing process for the G&F and gives those hunters who opt to receive a management tag if not successful with their 123 choices an extra half a percent chance of drawing some kind of tag. Kind of a bummer if all you wanted to mess with was an oryx management hunt. You could contact the G&F and see if they will accept an application with only a 5th choice selected. The odds of drawing a pop reduction hunt should now be as bad as drawing any other oryx tag since no one in their right mind should apply for an oryx hunt without checking the management box and effectively getting a fourth choice. I don't think it's a bad idea for other species though...
