A new organization has been formed in Northern Utah the Bridgerland Outdoor Coalition (BOC). This group is a coalition of many of the national conservation groups (RMEF,MDF,PF,TU,NWTF,DU) and other public land users including Back Country Horseman, cyclists. backpackers, etc.
Now the main news: this coalition will be holding their first outdoor expo June 3 & 4 at the Stan Laub Center on the campus of Utah State University in Logan. This will be a two day event with vendors but the main focus will be on education, many events are being held to introduce and educate people to the importance of wildlife and public land conservation. The event will end with a banquet auction on saturday night. Friday is kids day and they attend free with a paying adult. Cost is minimal for the expo at $5.00 for adults $2.00 children. Tickets are still available for the banquet ($95.00 per couple). Booth space is also available for those wishing to display. Come and be part of a ground breaking event for Wildlife and Land Conservation, a way for the "average joe" to particiapte and give back to conservation.
