outfitter goose hunting in Idaho

OK can any one tell me when they stared guiding for goose hunting in Idaho I thought that Idaho did not allow guided hunts for waterfowl.I called the Fish$Game and no one could tell me if it was or not legal to guide in Idaho for waterfowl. Thanks

It's not legal anymore, but there are a few old outfits on the east side that were grandfathered into the system, and are still allowed to guide waterfowl.

You cannot be a waterfoul outfitter but you can run a waterfoul "hunt club"...go figure, only in Idaho.

Idaho Waterfowl Association is currently posting a petition to outlaw guided waterfowl hunting in Idaho on all public and private land!
