I WAS WONDERING WHAT CALIBER OF BUCK CAN I EXPECT TO SEE ON THE PARKER MOUNTAIN (PLATEAU) UNIT. HAS ANYONE SEEN ANY GOOD BUCKS OUT THERE THIS YEAR. I HAVE NOT HAD A CHANCE TO GO SCOUTING YET. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

I drew that unit for the rifle hunt last year and shot a 76" buck. He goes 14 1/2" on one horn and 14 3/4" in the other. It was the first antelope I've ever shot so I was happy. There are a lot of antelope in that unit but we never saw and whoppers. I'd guess the best way to describe the unit would be a great chance at a 14 inch 72-78 B&C buck if you don't pull the trigger on the first buck you see. Most of the bucks seemed to lack in prong length and/or mass. I'm sure there's bigger bucks out there but we never saw them.
