PARTY TAG?

If I apply with a party of say 2 me makeing it 3, do we go in the draw as one or seperatly? If it is as one and we each had say 4 points each, would it be like having 12 points?

They allow party applications for DEER ONLY. You would go in as if you were 1 applicant with 4 points. They will add the points and round them to the nearest whole number.

Residents and Non-residents can apply together.

No, Nevada averages the points in a party app. and rounds them to the nearest #. If you all had 4pts each then your party would have 4pts, if you had 1 and both your partners had 4 your party would have 3pts (1+4+4=9 9/3=3).
And you did not seriously think that they would let you add points up like that did you? It would be ridiculous if any state let you stack-up party points that way.

Thanks, Moosey69, I left out the part of dividing by 3 and rounding to the nearest whole number.

That would be ridiculous if you added all the points.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-16-10 AT 03:11PM (MST)[p]Does anyone know how this works with a Resident and Nonresident putting in together? Do they average the points and then each goes into their own draw and if they draw pull the other with it? Or is it one application that goes into the Res. draw or the Nonres. draw?
I have called and emailed them but can't find anyone that knows or wants to try and find out.

Also a side note, whatever your points end up being after they average them gets squared. If your party ends up with 4 points you will go in with 16.

I could swear my Dad and I have put in for antelope as a party for the past 18 years. If not, we've been extrememly lucky to get the identical tags since we started hunting there!

If you put in with a nonres. there has to be a nonres. tag for them to draw. If there are not any nonres tags left when they draw your number nobody in the party will draw, even if there are plenty of res. tags left.

I thought I was on the WY forum. Not sure about nevada antelope as a party. I'm waiting until 2014 anyway. I hate to wait!
