There is something wrong with our grocery supply system, when people think it's normal to pay $4-6 per pound for ground beef, but they have to sell whole pork loins for $1.79/pound to get them out of the store.
My Grandma fixed this about once a week, and always called it "burnt bottom gravy". She blamed it on being raised cooking on a wood stove, and never got the hang of those fancy electric ranges!!!
