I like it... I took out the little brighter red rocks and have replaced me with fossils from the area the buck was shot. He was a WY red dessert buck hence the base set up!
Broadfork...those are my faves. No offense to anyone but if I ever get a pediastal done I'm avoiding "habitat". Love the clean look of a log or something else simple.
Nothing special about the bases... one red cedar box and the other and aspen root, but both are rotating so you can spin the 360 degrees...(sorry for the terrible Iphone picture)
My wife wanted this simple base, and since she is ok having all the mounts in the house I usually compromise. You can turn the base or the mount 360 degrees and simple and cheap.
I know I posted this under my buck thread, but here it is again.
I have several animals on pedestals. I got the pedestals from biggamepedestals.com. They are excellent pedestals. The quality of these pedestals are incredible. I will try to take some photos and post them but I have no idea how to post pictures.

Got my 2013 buck back recently, I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out! Josh Hunt at Deer creek wildlife studio, did an amazing job! -Sorry, my photos wont upload-
