Anyone know when 2023 permit numbers will be available? Or have an idea as to what those will look like before the application deadline passes?

No. They are not decided on until the CPW meeting in early May. I suspect more thought than most years because of the tough winter.

Tag numbers are finalized by the Commission during one of their spring meetings. Last year it was during the May 4-5 meeting. My guess is that the final tag numbers will be approved during the May 3-4 meeting this year. No idea what they will look like.

I wish they would publish tag numbers before the application deadline. Same with the previous seasons estimated harvest numbers.
