is there a link to get unit public land private land percentages ? have searched co dow could not come up with anything . struck out in arizona and want to throw my name in colorado hat. thanks

Good luck in your search, might be hard to find. I have never seen anything like that published.

If you are a member of Huntin Fool, there is a link out there for that information in the members only section. It's under the "Colorado by GMU" link, you pick a unit and it has a graph with land ownership.

Another route is to buy the Colorado Outdoors Big Game CD. Almost everything you could possibly want to know about each GMU in the state is covered. I've been using their CD for seven years now and it's an awesome product. (And no, I don't work for them!)

You can get land ownership from the CDOW website, see link I've attached. http://ndis.nrel.colostate.edu/maps/ When you are in the MAPIT program, put a check in the Land Manager box of the layer list. I believe this will give you what you are looking for.
