Question? Antelope horn care.

Took an antelope in Wyoming and one of the horns broke. Is there a base pedicle I can purchase?

If the horn broke why do you need a base pedical? Did you break the core inside the horn?

I shot the antelope in the right eye and blew the top of his head off. Had the scope set to the wrong distance.

I have killed a bunch and almost every buck has a different size and shape core inside might be tough to find the right size!

I've been looking online and can't seem to find anything. All it would take is a skull plate with pedicles 1 inch long. I'd put a screw in the pedicle and bondo it up. Just need the starting point.

I'm sure there are entire skulls available from taxidermy supply but not sure about just the pedicle. You could likely start an add in the taxidermy.net website and find one.

You may have the horns on backwards?

They are. The prongs are pointing to the back of the skull. The eye sockets are facing the back of the couch.

After last winter...just walk around in the sage and pick up skulls till you find one that works....
