In unit 66 and 44 the 4th season non-resident deer quota is capped at 20%.
For those units third seasons the cap Is 35%.

At what point or what triggers the nonresident cap drop from 35% to 20%?
 
I believe the points are based on resident points. If a unit takes more than 6 resident points, it's capped at 20%.
 
Six points when?
For the past few years those 3rd season hunts have taken a lot more than six points for residents to draw.

They haven't updated the splits with point requirements for a number of years. That's why the newest initiative has been brought to the table
