I am looking a good recoil pad for my Remington 700 Mountain Rifle. I can't find a SVL one that will fit. Any other suggestions?

A Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad is a very good one on taming recoil. Pachmayr makes pre-fit Decelerator pads for Remington 700 with the synthetic stock. Try www.brownells.com for a complete list of pads and price, or you can call them toll free at 1-800-741-0015. the pad is about 25.00 in cost. I have used this pad on numerous magnums without any complaints.

check remington.com they have the svl your looking for its a svl 2 its for remington rifles and they carry them at cabelas

The SVL also comes in grind-to-fit models.

I would check into Limbsaver pads. I love mine. I actually got a slipover and can use it on 3 different rifles including my T/C Omega muzzleloader.
