All I can say it's about damn time.. There were alot of hero's in Vietnam most are long forgotten and many are in the ground..we as Americans should realize this and give these great Americans their due.. And when it comes to race there was is no racism in a fire fight we were all fighting for each other and the red white and blue

I agree wholly Yote. It doesn't matter race. He deserved it and glad it wasn't posthumous. I noticed he was well decorated and glad they didn't ignore him forever for this honor as he had their back and risked his life repeatedly.
