Well, we shoot many different rifles around here what are your zero's & load info, & the rifle itself?

300yd Zero
Rem 700 Custom
30.06 25" Lilja
168gr Berger VLD Hunting Match
3050-3075 fps

fps unknown ( I don't have a crono yet)

Killed my first lope out in WY last weekend at 510 yds.
 
Rem. 700 ADL black syn. stock 24" barrel. 7mm Rem. Mag. Nosler 160 gr. Partitiion. 3009 fps. 3" high at 100 yards.

Win. 70 Featherweight, 22" barrel. .257 Ackley Improved. Nosler 120 gr Partition, 2820 fps. 3" high at 100 yards.

Like the famous line from blazzing saddles "I like rape" I like noslers,, very dead friendly.

all sighted 2 inches high at 100 ///dead on at 225 and varies by caliber beyond that. Know your gun, drop and yardage. the rest is just stupid easy.
 
AWLBull -- yeah they're hand loads. 104.5 grains of Retumbo. No pressure signs either. Hodgdon's website says 105 is max for that bullet. I only lost about 150 fps going to 200 vs 180 grn Accubonds. I think it's worth it.

Leupold 6.5 x 20 scope ( not much good in the close stuff )
Before useing a turret I would site my guns in with the MPBR method .( Maimum point blank range ) Maybe this is what you are looking for ?
