Rio Arriba New Mexico Rifle Hunt

Starting on Nov 6th I will begin a 7 day muley hunt in Rio Arriba county.

I did this same hunt 3 years back and was able to take this 180? non-typical. He would have been close to 190? but had a broken G2.

The moon for the week will be perfect and I am hoping for cool weather to get those bucks interested in the doe.

I'd like to take a nice typical this time but will not pass on a nice mature non-typical.

No, private but not a guided hunt.

Oh I see. I thought the private land hunt dates had to correspond with public land draw hunts. If I'm correct starting on the 6th will only allow you 2 days. Not sure though.

Our hunt is the 6th-12th. I'm not sure on the public land dates.
