S.W. Co. hunting

Howdy all,

Long time lurker here, don't post much. I have a question for all you Co. hunters. It looks like I will be moving soon to S.W. Co. I have not hunted in that area since I was a pup. Is the hunting, Bulls and bucks, rifle any good down that way anymore? I will be living just n. of the Ute res. Decent fishing? thanks in advance for any info you can share.

I'm in Durango. Yes & Yes. But just like all hunting, you need to know where to go & how to hunt. Lots of good fishing.

good elk hunting, good deer hunting, good turkey, ok waterfowl if you can get on the river.

Great buck and bull hunting, but just like said above you need to know where to go and work for it. The fishing is awesome also!!!

I lived in Glenwood area for years, but only spent a little time in the southern part of the state. I recall being in Delores and wishing I lived there. Thanks for the replies gentleman.
