Scope fogging up

I sometimes have trouble with my rifle scope's fogging up. (Both my Burris scope and Leopold). Is there any type of anti-fog spray out on the market that could help?

Believe it or not the best "anti-fog" stuff I have used is just your plane old every day shaving cream.


the gel cream works the best. put it on... wipe it around... wipe until it disapears and there you go.


you can breath on it to test it out. Its a cheap solution to an incredibly frustrating situation.


Also if you are hunting in a really cold place and find that taking your gun from your warm trailer to your cold truck, etc... just set it outside a few mintues before you plan on leaving so it has time to adjust and won't fog.
