Just curious, on the spread credit use inside measurement or if longer use longer antler measurement? What do they mean by that? If it's main beams, would you end up using two main beam measurements?

I believe the rule is that the inside spread credit cannot exceed the length of your longest main beam. So for example: 30" inside spread measurement. 26" main beam length. Your spread credit would be 26". Hope this helps.

Yes, your inside spread credit can't exceed your longest main beam. So as stated if you measure a 30" inside spread, and the main beams are 25" and 26" you will have to use 26" for your inside spread measurement.

Main beam & inside spread differences only apply to net score. When your talking about gross score you just add the two together. I think net scores are kind of a bunk deal.A buck shouldn't be penalized for growing a 30 inch MB and a 26 inside spread, or 110 inch right side and a 105 inch left side.
