Does NM have a designated season in which a person can look for sheds? or Can I go shed hunting anytime?

I emailed NM wildlife the same question recently and the reply was no season or dates you can shed hunt on public land anytime of the year.

Valle Vidal is open April 1st. Illegal to be in there prior. Any where else is fair game anytime.

Sheds are free game unless its an the valles caldera, bandy, lanl, any other wild life refuges or state parks.. And if you find a dead head your supposed to leave it and contact a conservation officer.. Better Hurry there getting picked like EASTER EGGS...
