The MIL had another little procedure today, before next weeks breast cancer surgery. She needed some comfort food!

For you guys that don't like casseroles, this ain't a casserole. If you like lamb in a traditional recipe, I don't, so tough. It's either ground beef or slow cooked venison in ours!!

Beef, broth gravy, peas, carrots, corn, and mashed potatoes (needed one more) on top. Butter basted bread sticks, and fruit. Doesn't get much simpler. I like sweet onions, mushrooms and extra brown gravy for mine!!!

Try it with Campbells Tomato soup instead of the gravy. We always made it with gravy until we tried tomato soup. Now it's always tomato soup.

Nope, tomato soup is to be enjoyed with grilled cheese sandwiches!!!

Much better than the Chicken Casserole with Dumplings by Mountaun House I ate yesterday It was ok but not the Dumplings so much.
