I have a shorter torso and my Badlands 2200 is killing me . I've heard the Blacks Creek packs are great for guys like me. Can anyone give me any info or opinions? How does it handle packing out meat? Wear and tear?

I'd look at Eberlestock's X2 really nice pack, just too short for my torso.

LAST EDITED ON Nov-25-10 AT 01:47PM (MST)[p]I had the Canadian and the Alaskan. Both have the adjustable torso and both are built like tanks. But they are a little heavy compared to my sitka 32. They were also a little wider than I liked and that was the main reason I got rid of them. They will definitely pack a load.

3 x on the Estock X 2.

I have a shorter torso, and it works well.

Just packed out a lion hide on it today, and it did just fine.

I also have a short torso and I use the Wilderness Pack Specialties pack and it works great! I used it to pack out an elk and a deer this year and was very impressed!
