Sightron problems!

Just returned from a 3 night stay in the hills with my brother who missed a nice 4 point at about 75-80 yrds, in dis-belief that he could miss such a easy shot, back at camp he shot at a target at 100yrds and totally missed!! It shot about 14in. high and about 8 inches left! We thought that we'd learned a valuable lesson on always shooting your gun when you arrive in the hills even if your gun is on before right? Probably great advice, but after zero'ing it back in and taking another shot it was off even worse! I'm sure not every Sightron is bad, but this one is JUNK!!!!!!

LAST EDITED ON Sep-30-06 AT 05:34PM (MST)[p]I'll bet he doesn't remember accidently dropping the ML either.... just kidding!

All scopes - even ones that cost $1000+ have been known to have a problem or two child. One out of every 1000 good ones will haunt someone. I had a Leupold whose windage adjustment fell right out - onto the ground.

Nothing or nobody is perfect in this world.... not even $1000+ Zeiss Riflescopes.

Sorry to hear about your brother's scope and loss of harvest. Need help finding another brand, just ask here for posters-recommendations.

I owned a sightron once...would'nt hold zero even slightly. I got rid of it so fast, I can't even remember where it went.
