Took longer to heat the grill and marinate the elk steaks with a side of veggies and 90 second Uncle Ben's. Simply summer for sure.

Marinade is Applecider vinegar, evoo, kosher salt, pepper, garlic, with a dusting of Tony Chachere’s Original Creole Seasoning on the grill. Cocked 2 minutes a side.

Momma was pleased since I cooked while she enjoyed a summer cocktail.

The girls would skip the elk, but looks wonderful to me! Congrats on a great meal.

No offense taken. Hardly tough but it was a bit dry. Wife was still happy though.. Cooked way quicker than anticipated. 2 minutes a side at 600°F. Shut the grill off at the 1st 2 minute flip too. Barely any pink.

The wife drew a desert winter range cow elk hunt this year. Looking forward to lots of elk steaks!!!
