Skull with horns

I found a deer skull with the antlers still atached its cool my first nice find 4X3. my wife freaked out when i brought it home she said it was illegal to bring it out because it was not a shed. Is that true.

What state are you in. It is not illegal in Montana, but it maybe in other states.

methinks it's illegal so poachers won't shoot wintering bucks and then come back in the spring for their racks. sad part is, poachers are going to poach no matter what the rules say.
