Snowmobiles are they legal to use?

My dad is getting up their in age, and he has a late cow tag. A friend told him where he could to shoot a cow and then he would pull it off the mountain with a snowmobile. Is it legal to use a snowmobile on a hunt even if it is just to pull an animal off the mountain?

Snowmobiles are classified just like any other motorized vehicle and the same laws would apply. Fire up the sled and go get your dad an elk.

They kind of fall under the same rules as a ATV. If the snow is deep enough they will work wonders on get your dad close to his cow and then be a great help getting that animal off the mountain.
