Soft Mount

Has anybody ever had a a soft mount done for a predator, I’m considering doing it on a bear but have not found a taxidermist that’s done it.

You mean mouth open but not growling? Or completely closed. Here’s my wolverine open and not snarling. I think predators look better not snarling.

So it’s where the taxidermist mounts the head and then fills the rest of the hide with stuffed animal stuffing, it’s like a full body mount stuffed animal that you can pose and move around easily. The few I’ve seen look really good but can’t seem to find anyone that does it. If I can’t find anyone I’m planning on doing a rug with the mouth closed.

Swore your post was “ soft mouth” not “soft mount”. Sorry.
Either way, I would like to see yours if you get it mounted that way.

No worries ? I had never even heard of it until recently.
