Opening morning we rode in 3 miles on horses. When the lights came on we glassed for an hour with only a few does spotted. After that we moved over to the next ridge just to watch this guy run over the top of the next ridge. So we tied the horses up and beat feet across the draw. When we got there we glassed for 20 minutes and wasn?t seeing anything I figured that the deer had won this round. But we continued to sit there and some other hunters came around above the draw we were looking and got this guy to run up on the opposing side hill to where we could see him. With one shot he was down and my boy was super excited with his first buck.

Don't be afraid to live for fear of dieing.

Congratulations to that young hunter. He did well.
