Southern turkey

I drew a southern turkey tag this year that i put in for because my cousin said that we should be able to get on some on Monroe mountain, now he says he not sure if enough snow will have melted to make it where he had on mind. I am looking for some advice on some places to check out or i would happily pay a trespass fee if it meant I had a good chance at a bird.

Henry Mountains have a lot of turkeys on them, especially the east side. Just too far for me to go for a bird.

wrong unit. Henry's is not the southern unit, it is the southeastern unit. do not use your southern permit there. just FYI.
