I have a friend that just got a land owner elk tag around the Springer area he is from Washington State. What caliber bull can a person expect to see and and is there alot of elk in this region.

its a ranch only and just outside springer is all i know.I will try to get more info from him on location.

Saw a nice rack in the back of a pick-up heading back to TX last week when I was in Springer,but who knows where it came from. Ask the LO that the tag came from and ask the folks at the market in Springer for info,they are good folks.I've seen tons of elk west of there.
