I have two pairs of steiners. The nighthunter 10X50's and the military 6X30's. They are now a part of my body when I hunt i have become so familiar with them. Great glass, can't complain, and I like the weight of the 10X50's keeps them steadier. I use the 6X30's for quick acquisition in thick stuff, and the 10x50's for spot and stalk duties. A 26 objective lens is too small for anything but when the sun is up. If you are looking for something for that purpose then the glass is great but don't expect them to deliver at dusk and dawn.

I have the steiner merlin 10x42 binos. good glass, not as pricey as some of the others.
