The war in Iraq, and as a result the failing war in Afghanistan and Bin laden still free. the overall division in this country that is as bad as it's ever been. the economy in part, due to poor managment and once again the money totally blown in Iraq. our poor standing in the world, we live in a world economy and need the world to fight terrorism, you can't pizz on everyone and then ask for help. the aid in shipping jobs overseas. the doubled national debt which is turning us into a debtor nation and wrecking our dollar. just to name a few. now Bush isn't 100% responsible some of it is bad luck, but much of that bad luck he made.
Now you'll say none of this is Bush's fault, knock yourself out it doesn't matter now. the people have spoken so Bush is history and the republicans will have plenty of time to reflect on their mistakes, a few are smart enough to learn and rebuild the party.

ur poor standing in the middle east is never going to change until we cut ties with the jews.The rest of that sh*t is all of our greedy americans fault.We all want to make tons of money and have everything dirt cheap. the big environmental movement for the last 30 years has pushed all the jobs out of here. We don't manufacture jack sh*t here anymore. Why? Labor,taxes and regulations are too expensive. People rag on the oil industry but they are a necessary evil. ExxonMobil recorded 13.4 billion net income for the third quarter but also paid 33 billion in taxes in the same quarter. Maybe the rich and the corporations should leave and see how far the democrats take us. Until government learns how to not piss away money,the use it or lose it attitude,we will always be in debt.

First 220 years of our country national debt was 4 trillon dollars in the last 8 years our national debt has doubled under Bush, that is the main reason why Mccain lost but Palin hurt him. Govt spending went up faster under Bush than anyone else in recent history. Bush has lowest approval rating since the polls began.

We have them so wrapped up on their own soil that there is little opportunity to bother us. I doubt a Democrat from the left-coast came up with that strategy. First off Goob Iraq had nothing to do with attacking us, and after terrorist came to Iraq to fight us and decided it wasn't worth the effort they returned to Afghanistan to regroup with Bin Laden who is still making movies. more attacks werte planed and law enforcemnt both here and abroad stopped them , NOT military action.

I'm a conservative. I, of course, voted for Mccain. He wouldnt have been my first choice. It wouldnt have mattered. He didnt have a chance in this election because of the track record of Bush and the "moderate" republicans in Congress. I agree that the Democratic congress should and does hold much if not all of the blame for the econimic crisis we are in, but Bush screwed up by adopting the policies of the "spend, spend, spend" liberals. He folded like a cheap shirt, and in an effort to "get something done", made mistakes. There is one thing he should have done more of. Its called VETO! The republicans spent more on "earmarks" than the Dems! Of course this economy doesnt have anything to do with Bush; but its kinda hard to point the finger at the other guys when you are not being fiscally responsible. At least with a Dem you KNOW he is gonna spend! Republicans are done until they become conservatives again. I think the American people made that clear by the pickups (25 I think)the Dems got in the House and Senate.
However, the one thing that I think Bush got RIGHT is the war. I have to admit that I'm scared as hell of what MIGHT happen to this country under an Obama administration. Not so much because he is a radical Far left unknown that seems to change his position with each speech he gives, but because of the complete pkg. (A Dem controlled House, Senate, and White House). We know what Reid, Pelosi and Shumer want....Our guns and our money.

So if we can't bomb our way to safety the next best thing is to have a world effort to eliminate terrorist from within your own nation, we even have them here. now the best way to get this cooperation is to be liked and respected with the countries you're asking to catch said terrorist. this is where Obama shines, I don't think most people know how much Bush is hated around the world and how low opinions of America in general has fallen. I'm not saying everyone is going to love us because they're not, but every government who cares if we get attacked or not is going to go a long ways in our behalf.

The countries I'm mainly talking about are not radical countries but nations who are on the fence as to their opinion of us. you can talk tough all you want but militarily and financially we don't and won't control the world, so we better learn to get along like big kids. we are without a doubt sliding back into a cold war situation with Russia, this in the long term holds far more harm for this nation than a few ragheads. if Obama can temper this problem before it gets too far to stop he'll be a greater leader than Bush or McCain ever were, we've been sweating the small stuff and ignoring the major players. we will not attack Iran as long as Russia and China stand behind them, diolog with all 3 is our only chance to stop them from going nuclear.
