Its too bad a record was wasted like this... Shouldn't records be about the largest specimen ever caught? Couldn't the fish's size be recognized somehow without giving credit to the person who didn't have the right papers?

Poaching fish doesn't seem a big deal to some people but this is a trophy fish. I know, it's not a big game animal. He went fishing without a tag. I've seen Asians in the Columbia River keeping undersized Sturgeon. I pulled out my Bushnells, got their watercraft # and reported them.
