It's time for a new scope and I'm considering the Swarovski AV1 with the TDS reticle in 3x10 with the 42mm objective. Are any of you familiar with this scope and if so, is it worth the $1,000 price tag or would I be equally outfitted with a Leupold VX-III? The scope will be mounted on a Model 70 Sharpshooter in 300 Win Mag. The rifle is used for mule deer and elk. Any advice you can give will be appreciated.
