Taking Bow To Argentina

Anyone have any experience with flying with a bow to Argentina? I’m headed there in March to hunt red stag and possibly water buffalo with my bow. The outfitter and a couple references make it seem like it’s no big deal, but 2 of the references I talked to said they were held up for an hour or so in Buenos Aires because according to them it seemed like customs didn’t know the specific laws. Any thing I should do in advance or look out for?

No experience with Argentina, but every trip abroad to Africa has been concerned with firearms only, and archery has been just luggage. I had scheduled a trip there to Argentina for buff and the question of archery never even came up.
